Las Vegas hasn't changed a bit. It's interesting, sure, but only for a little while. The Grand Canyon from the south side, on the other hand, was a surprise. Gorgeous!

We finally made it over to Jeff and Mistry's, their house in Las Vegas.
The walk along the Las Vegas Strip was more out of duty, they wouldn't let the girls on the roller coaster above the New York New York casino and the pirate ship battle isn't until late in the evening, plus the lady pirates are topless and pretty dominoid :-)

The Grand Canyon was awesome. It was freezing at night so the girls had to borrow jackets from Mistry, but during the day there was gorgeous sunshine and warmth. We thought with pity of those who stayed behind freezing in Bohemia :-)

Jeff picked a hike down towards the bottom of the canyon from Yaki Point. The route was 10km long with 1300m of elevation. The girls and Tonda aced it, Hana Mother Hero carried Tonik the whole time and didn't even grumble, that's how beautiful it was there.
